Announcing the official release of my debut CD – To Brasil and Bacharach: A Tribute – coming Feb. 2, 2016!

To Brasil and Bacharach features some of Burt Bacharach’s most loved songs (Walk on By, Alfie, Close To You, I Say A Little Prayer and A House Is Not A Home) and songs by various Brazilian composers, including Toninho Horta, Ivan Lins, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Dani Gurgel, and more. Brazilian pianist/composer/educator Marcos Silva crafted interesting and beautiful arrangements for these songs. The musicians on the CD include me on vocals (both English and Brazilian lyrics), Marcos Silva on piano, Erik Jekabson on flugelhorn, Harvey Wainapel on saxophone, Colin Hogan on accordion, Scott Thompson on electric bass, Phil Thompson and Greg German on drums. The combination of great songwriting, sensitive arranging, masterful playing and song interpretation makes this an exceptional recording!
